About Positive Reset Eatontown.
We are a Joint Commission–accredited outpatient mental health clinic in Eatontown, New Jersey. We’ve been serving Monmouth County since 2014. Today, our team of 75+ NJ-licensed clinicians provides therapy, psychiatry, medication management, and TMS to adults, teens, and children — in person at our office and via telehealth across all of New Jersey.
We accept Medicaid (NJ FamilyCare) and all 5 NJ FamilyCare MCOs alongside Medicare, Tricare, and most major commercial plans. We are credentialed in-network with each, and we verify your specific benefits before your first visit. Most new patients are seen within 7 to 14 days; we tell you exactly when on the first call.

What we believe
Mental health care should be accessible, evidence-based, and routine. Most of the people we see have already done the hard part — recognizing they need help. Our job is to make the next step (verifying coverage, finding a clinician, getting an appointment) feel easier than they expected.
We accept Medicaid (NJ FamilyCare) and all 5 of its MCOs because the patients who most need mental-health care are often the ones whose plans get refused everywhere else. That isn’t a side benefit of how we’re built; it’s a deliberate choice.

What care looks like here
Most patients start with one of two paths: therapy alone, or therapy plus medication. The first visit is a 60- to 90-minute evaluation with the clinician you’ll work with going forward. By the end of that visit you have a working plan: how often you’ll meet, what kind of therapy, and whether medication is something to consider. Many patients see meaningful change within 8 to 12 sessions, though some conditions take longer or call for specialty care.
We don’t promise outcomes — no honest clinic can. We do tell you, on the first visit, what the evidence supports for your situation, and when a different level of care (partial-hospitalization, inpatient, a specialist outside our clinic) would serve you better than what we offer. Read more on our mission for the full set of principles.
How billing works
We verify your insurance benefits before your first visit and give you a written estimate of any copay or deductible — in plain dollars, not codes. If a bill ever doesn’t match what we told you up front, we fix it. NJ FamilyCare members typically pay $0 for therapy and psychiatry visits at our clinic. Commercial-plan copays usually run $0 to $50 in-network, depending on your plan.
For self-pay patients, our rates are tiered: $150 for individual therapy with a licensed therapist, $200 for psychiatric evaluations, $125 for medication-management follow-ups. Sliding-scale rates are available for patients who can’t afford the full fee — ask at intake. See our no-surprise-billing policy for the federal context (the No Surprises Act, in effect since 2022) and our specific clinic commitments.
Common questions
How long has Positive Reset Eatontown been open?
Since 2014. The clinic has grown from a small therapy practice to a multi-discipline outpatient clinic with 75+ NJ-licensed clinicians, full psychiatric services, and TMS.
Is this a hospital or a private practice?
Outpatient clinic — not a hospital, not a solo private practice. We’re Joint Commission accredited and Medicare certified (the same standards hospital-affiliated outpatient clinics are held to), but we don’t offer inpatient or partial-hospitalization care. For those, we coordinate referrals with partner programs in Monmouth County.
Do you treat both adults and kids?
Yes. Adults, teens, and children — same clinic, with clinicians who specialize in each population. Couples and family therapy are offered as part of our therapy service. Tell our intake team who’s being seen and we’ll match you to a clinician whose practice fits.
How do I verify a clinician’s license?
Each clinician’s NJ license number is on their profile page. You can verify any of them through the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs license-search portal. See accreditations for the full list of licensing boards we work with.
