Why we built our practice around it

NJ FamilyCareisn’t a side benefit of how we work. It’s the whole point.

Most of the people who most need mental-health care are the ones whose plans get refused everywhere else. We deliberately credentialed with all 5 NJ FamilyCare MCOs so that whatever your card says, the answer is yes.

No different waiting list, no different intake process, no different clinicians. The same 75+ NJ-licensed clinicians see commercial-insurance patients and NJ FamilyCare patients identically.

NJ FamilyCare members pay $0 out-of-pocket for therapy, psychiatry, and medication management at our clinic. • Which Medicaid MCOs are accepted at Positive Reset Eatontown?

All five MCOs that participate in NJ FamilyCare: Horizon NJ Health, Aetna Better Health of New Jersey, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of New Jersey, Wellpoint (formerly Amerigroup), and FidelisCare New Jersey. If you're not sure which MCO you're enrolled with, the name is printed on the back of your NJ FamilyCare card, or you can call NJ FamilyCare member services at 1-800-701-0710.
  • Do you accept Aetna?

Yes, we accept commercial Aetna plans (HMO, PPO, EPO) for mental health care. Note that Aetna Better Health of New Jersey is a separate Medicaid product — also accepted, but billed differently. If you have Aetna through your employer, that's the commercial plan; if you have Aetna Better Health of New Jersey through NJ FamilyCare, that's the Medicaid product.
  • Do you accept Oscar?

Yes, we accept Oscar Health for mental health care. Oscar plans purchased through the New Jersey marketplace and through employers are both covered.
  • What if my insurance plan isn't listed?

Call us at (732) 724-1234. We accept several plans not always listed on our website, and we can usually verify a plan within 24 hours. If we're truly out-of-network for your plan, we'll tell you up front and offer a sliding-scale self-pay rate.
  • What does NJ FamilyCare cover for mental health?

NJ FamilyCare covers individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, partial hospitalization, and crisis services. Coverage of telehealth, inpatient care, and substance use treatment varies by MCO and plan tier. Specific session limits and prior-authorization requirements differ by MCO — see the [NJ FamilyCare benefits handbook](https://www.njfamilycare.org) or ask us at intake.
  • How long until I can be seen?

Most new patients are seen within 7–14 days of their first call. Telehealth visits often have shorter wait times than in-person. If you're in crisis, call us — we triage same-week appointments for active safety concerns where appropriate, or refer you to crisis resources if our outpatient setting isn't the right level of care.
  • Where are you located?

615 Hope Road, Suite 3B, Eatontown, NJ 07724. We're in the Hope Road professional building, with parking on-site and accessible by NJ Transit bus routes. We see patients in-person at this location, and we offer telehealth statewide across New Jersey for visitors anywhere in the state.
  • What are your hours?

Monday through Thursday: 9am to 8pm. Friday: 9am to 6pm. Saturday: by appointment for established patients. We're closed Sundays and major holidays. Telehealth visits follow the same hours and are available across all New Jersey time-zone-equivalent business hours.
  • How do I book my first appointment?

Call (732) 724-1234, or use the booking form on this site. The first call takes 10–15 minutes — we verify insurance, ask about your concern, and match you with the right clinician. We confirm your first appointment by phone or email within 24 business hours.
