Conditions we treat.
We treat the most common adult and adolescent mental health conditions on an outpatient basis — anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, postpartum depression, bipolar disorder, and several others. Each page below explains the condition in plain language: what it is, who it affects, how we treat it at our clinic, and what care looks like in person at our Eatontown office or via telehealth statewide.
Every clinical page on this site is written and reviewed by NJ-licensed clinicians. We update content quarterly, and the last review date appears on each page so you can see how current it is. We don’t diagnose in copy — the pages describe care so you can decide whether to talk to us, not replace a clinical evaluation.
If you’re in crisis
If you or someone you love is in immediate danger, call or text 988, or go to the nearest emergency room. The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7. Positive Reset is an outpatient clinic and is not a 24/7 crisis line.
New Jersey residents can also reach the NJ Hopeline at 1-855-654-6735, a state-funded peer-support service for emotional distress.

How treatment usually works at our clinic.
Most people start with one of two paths: therapy alone, or therapy plus medication. Your first visit is a 60- to 90-minute evaluation. Your clinician asks about what’s bringing you in, your history, current symptoms, and what you’ve tried before. By the end of that visit, you have a working plan: how often you’ll meet, what kind of therapy, and whether medication is something to consider.
Many patients see meaningful change within 8 to 12 sessions, though some conditions — PTSD, OCD, and treatment-resistant depression among them — take longer or call for specialty care like TMS. We don’t promise outcomes. We do tell you honestly when a different level of care — partial-hospitalization, inpatient, or a specialist outside our clinic — would serve you better than what we offer.
Insurance, intake, and what comes next.
We accept Medicaid (NJ FamilyCare) and all 5 NJ FamilyCare MCOs — Horizon NJ Health, Aetna Better Health of NJ, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, Wellpoint NJ, and FidelisCare NJ — alongside Medicare, Tricare, and most major commercial plans. 15+ plans in total. We verify insurance within one business day and walk you through any copay or deductible before your first visit. No surprise bills six months later.
Not sure where to start? Call our intake team. We’ll match you to a clinician based on what’s bringing you in, your insurance, your schedule, and whether you’d prefer in person at our Eatontown office or telehealth from anywhere in New Jersey. See all plans accepted or browse the full clinical team.
Before you pick a page.
How long does it usually take to be seen?
Most new patients are seen within 7-14days. Sometimes sooner. We’ll tell you exactly when on the first call.
Do I need a referral?
For most plans, no. A few Medicaid plans require one — we’ll check while we verify your insurance.
Can I see someone over telehealth?
Yes. Telehealth is available to anyone in New Jersey for therapy, psychiatry, and medication management. TMS is in person at our Eatontown office only.
What if my condition isn’t listed?
Call us. We treat many conditions beyond the ones with dedicated pages, and our intake team can tell you whether we’re the right fit or refer you to a clinic that better matches what you need.
